- The Principal’s Award is presented to PALS leaders at Queen Margaret University to acknowledge their learning from and contribution and dedication to the scheme.
- Student PALS Leaders can work towards an Award at one of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.The level of Award presented is dependent on the level of engagement with PALS. Student Leaders can work through the levels as they move through their university studies.
- Some leaders have received an additional ‘with merit’ acknowledgement at their level. This is awarded if the Leader has engaged in one of the extra activities associated with PALS, such as, among other things, delivering International PALS sessions, contributing to training delivery and development, presenting at conferences.

To achieve Platinum, leaders must go above and beyond in their commitment to PALS by completing over 75 hours of PALS-related activities.
